Created by Debbie Rosas and Carlos Rosas, this ground breaking fitness and personal growth program skillfully integrates the dance arts, martial arts and healing arts (like yoga) to deliver a high powered, energizing workout for the body, mind, emotions and spirit. Nia is a completely unique fusion fitness practice that tones and trims the body through pleasure, not pain. Adaptable to all ages, body types and fitness levels, Nia gives students tools to explore their own bodies and the ways they move. Students are given the space and time to explore, perceive, and refine their movements in order to experience greater ease, comfort and pleasure. The Nia workout is generally performed in bare feet, and through the use of music and movement, each Nia experience is uniquely crafted to both calm and invigorate.
